Spring Alla Prima

I just love doing these little Alla Prima paintings. I had bought this cute bunny a few weeks ago and decided to do a quick painting, trying to capture the lights and shadows of this pure white statue.I clipped a forsythia branch from the grounds of the studio to add an element of springtime. I spent part of the afternoon painting it•• did not time myself •••but had great fun with it! I think I’ll frame it and keep it to add to the Easter decor in our house! Happy Springtime, my friends!
